What Are Crown Small Group Studies?

Crown Financial Ministries is an interdenominational ministry that uses a remarkably effective Small Group Bible Study to train adults to practically apply the financial principles from Gods Word. Crown also has developed outstanding studies for teens and children, beginning at age 3.

The small group study is an 10 week in-depth study of what scripture teaches about money and possessions. The group meets for 2 hours every week.

There are four requirements for students participating in this study:

• Daily prayer for each member of your group
• Memorize one assigned scripture each week.
• Complete weekly homework assignments-both Bible study and practical application. (approximately 2 hours of homework per week)
• Attend a minimum of 9 of the 11 classes.

Most Christians have been taught only Gods principles of handling 10 percent of their incomethe area of giving. Although this is crucial, they do not understand the Lords perspective on handling the other 90 percent.

In the Crown study you will learn what Scripture teaches about managing all your possessions. Topics include the following.

The study is very practical. Each time you learn a principle, you will apply what you have learned. For example, you will complete a debt repayment schedule and start a budget. Students in the adult study receive a Student Manual, the Practical Application Workbook and a copy of Your Money Counts.

Graduates have confirmed that marriages are being strengthened and individuals are getting out of debt. They also are becoming consistent savers, generous givers, and prudent consumers. Most importantly, people are entering into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply His Word.
